There are only 2 women where I work, myself being one. The rest are men, most of them are nice and respectful, but how can I politely handle the ones that are the jerks?

If they're not being polite to you, why should you have to worry about being polite to them?

Hey there, I've been in your shoes being one of three women working in a machine shop. My advice to you is the next time one of these men make a rude comment ask them would they like it if someone said that to there daughter, mother, or wife. This works trust me.

Come back with a comeback. Make your point that their comments aren't appreciated and that you don't need that crap. Also it might help if you bring in your boyfriend one day to just "pass by to say hi" or to drop off your lunch. You know just to intimidate them.
