Hey I tried to answer another of your questions and they said you are gone! I guess praying did not work for you either. LOL

I used to think that too because I imagined God as this power hungry guy that wanted his ego built up by us getting on our knee's. That used to piss me off until I thought about how a parent loves and worships their children. They need the love and worship in return from their children. Now I am more sympathetic and imagine God having feelings just like us. And I don't want to hurt the feelings of anyone, let alone the creator. I think He can be just a little bit dangerous. Think about it. You asked a good question but jump to conclutions that it's a fairy tale. You can't know that for sure. Try being an agnostic for a while. People that question with their mind open tend to come to believing in God.

From the beginning of time mankind has needed some type of god. Whether it be the Greeks, the Romans. Whether it was the ancient Egyptians or the Maya in South America. These people believed in their gods as fervently as any Christian believes in theirs. When pressed to prove god exists they will fall back on the bible, or some evangelist, or point out the "glory of nature" and point to the miracle of birth. And if something can not be explained then my favorite excuse of them all is "god moves in mysterious ways". I see no proof that a god exists. Until someone can convince me otherwise.

You believe what you want, and we'll do the same. For me it's not a fairytale. There's so much proof that it's undeniable. Even I, an intellectual sort of person, would have trouble putting blind faith into something so important as this without some sort of telltale hint of intelligent design.

I'm a Daddy's Girl. My Heavenly Father loves me (and all his children, whether they consider themselves part of His family or not) more than anything, and I love him too.

I'll pray for you, sweetie. I'm sure that underneath all that crust you're a nice person. lol.

Im totally with you dude. Ive seen no proof of any god. I beleive the earth created us. The earth is our god and we are destroying it.
People who believe in some magical guy in the sky and that they will go to some magical place when they die are just a bunch of followers who believe everthing they were told.
Religion was made up to keep people in line and make people feel better about death.
The truth is that when your dead, your dead. There is no light at the end of the tunnell.
