because yahoo doesn't allow ugly avatars. I personally looked to make mine fatter to be more realistic. no go.

Because there are no hideous avatars, I think there should be. That would change things quite a bit! The avatars make everyone good looking. I also think there should be more mature avatars. It makes everyone look young. When I see someone writing about their husband or their children it makes me say, geez aren't they a little young for that. The truth is I have no idea how old they are, the avatar just makes it that way.

Because you assume we make our avatars look like us. That's what I tried to do. And if you think the avatar's cute, then that's what you think about us.

Maybe because most people out here create their avatar to look like them as close as possible eventhough in the end its just cartoon.That's how i did it.

It's because our avatars are pretty there are almost no ugly avatars but im happy cause i looklike my avatar yay!

I'd guess it's because the avatars Yahoo! provides don't have options for lopsided eyes or multiple chins or receeding hair lines. :)

because thats what avatars is all about they are about making a cartoon that you like or want to be like. and all cartoons are cute because they are like people and it doesn't matter how messy or ugly they are. you will think they are cute. because they are their own look and personality.
