Hm.. Stones v. Beatles depends on what kind of music I want to listen to. Stones are pure rock, where Beatles went from Pop to "progressive rock"
The Who, definitely
AC/DC is more "fun" but Led were better musicians/songwriters in general
The Doors
GnR, though Skid Row is pretty good
The Ramones, hands down
I prefer Queen
Hendrix for actual ability, Clapton for songwriting.
