its a real problem because
i think the main problem are bout the ice caps melting. if all of antartica melts that will surely increase the sea level of the ocean. they said that the edges of the united states can be devoured by the ocean.
that when water warms up it expands. it also produces more energy which allows starms to create more energy and that is why hurricanes are becoming stronger plus lasting longer.
although, some scientest have measured temperature through time and noticed that the eart has warmed up like this in the past and eventually cools down.. its a pattern that the earth is in.
so it is a real problem

Global warming is just a term used to cover up the natural changes in our rock so that people think they are responsible. The earths core is cooling and the magnetic field is going wacko. But we don't see people flying off into a tizzy about these things, which have the potential for wiping life off the earth. No one is concerned that compasses in Africa aren't reading correctly, or that the magnetic north pole is going to be over Siberia by the year 2012.
So, to answer your question, it's a bunch of bologna being spewed by hang wringing scientists who are facing the reality of their mortality.

Global warming is real. Look at pictures of glaciers 50 years ago and those same glaciers today. 50 years ago they were pristine and huge. Now they are gray and shrinking.

I don't know. Why don't you come down here to the gulf and spend the later part of the summer and find out for yourself? At least surfing is getting better down here.
