If you want to do a degree in Law

Nottingham University has a very good reputation and so has Cardiff Law School. Would also consider Exeter University and if you want to live in london then the LSE (London School of Economics)

Oxford and Cambridge have the prestige value, but not necessarily the best facilities or tutors or connections - the best law school are those that are modern in outlook and gear their courses towards a more practical approach that will help develop you towards your career.

Post degree (for the vocational exams) the best law schools in London are BPP, City University and the College of Law.

Kings in London has a pretty good rep for law, as do Durham and Leicester (I think they are generally good universities).

My law school chums went to uni's like the ones above and would harp on about how 'prestigious' they are - I kept my mouth shut because mine was crap!

Good luck!
