It seems like I don't hear too many Americans over the age of 30 say they like it. (of course, it's a cultural phenomenon both here and in Britain)
If you're over 30, American and like/hate MP, could you explain why? Thanks!

I am 22 years old and I love Monty Python. I was first introduced to it when I watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail. That movie is still one of my favs and I laugh everything I watch it. "I'll bite your leg off!" -- Classic. I'm not sure I can explain it's attraction...I'm not typically into slap stick and fart jokes, but there's something about those Monty Python boys. I think it helps that they have British accents. Everything is funnier when said in that straightlaced British tone.

definite! i'm an old fart and a fan from previously. There are 40 5 television episodes, inspite of the actual undeniable actuality that some are more effective positive than others. There are also a pair videos, some records, or perhaps books. I were given to fulfill those adult males after their 1976 degree prepare in NYC. John Cleese became very tremendous! some thing else were ok too, yet he stuck round to communicate. SNL became good at the same time as it all started too, even if that is lengthy gone on perpetually! Monty Python is massive. relish!

I'll be 30 in a week. My brother-in-law (who is about 35) and I both love Monty Python. We've seen several of the films, and I watch the program on our local public television station every Saturday.

My mother is an over 30 Monty Python fan (and American), she loves it because it's very tongue in cheek. It has it's slap-stick humor but also intellegent humor to it too.

I much prefer the old British humour. Recent comedies don't make me laugh like the 70s does. I am only 22, so most of the comedies from the 70s were over before I remember watching them. I did watch a lot of repeats though, and enjoy the majority of what I see.

Not sure who you're talking to. Most of my friends are over 30. Many of them love Python. The movies and the shows. Maybe it's because they are mostly in their 40's. Maybe it skipped a half generation.

I've only seen MP and the Holy Grail, but I thought it was very funny. Especially the fight between King Arthur and the Knight. "It's just a scratch."
