Hi There, A 20' by 12' deck is large enough to do whatever you want. The extra 2 feet will not make that much difference. Save the $ 800- for the children's play equipment. Hope this helps, Al

I would say yes I have a 10' x 10' deck right now and it just isn't big enough. Me and my wife talked it over and she would like to see a bigger deck as soon as posible. I keep telling her I'm busy and she always says she well go and get it her self. I'm not woried she knows nothing about building a deck.
