Your question isn't clear... if you're looking for just a cable with an RJ45 (Ethernet) connector on one end and a USB connector on the other... you'll have a long search (I'm sure there is some exotic application which includes just such a thing, but not in the "mainstream")

You can, however, get USB-compatible devices, which will act as wired or wireless network interface, if that's what you mean?

Anywhere that you would go for over-the counter networking gear will have them. I've been out of the UK for a number of years, so I can't give you a list... "Staples" is a name that comes to mind...

Ethernet and USB interfaces can co-exist just fine on a computer, most computers have both. You can also get Ethernet interfaces that work over USB. So whoever told you that is wrong.

Not sure what your question is but certainly having both USB and ethernet is not a problem. 90% of off the shelf computers have both.
