What are the penalties for having an illegal IPB?

What would happen if I was to download IPB v. 2.1.6 for free from somewhere? and host it somewhere?

My best bet would be asking you to remove that program or take you off the internet for a time period and a heavy fine or a heavy fine and a long jail time. neither of it sounds inviting I know but take care what ever you do I am not sure if you legal or not withthat program
