best is to ask, but if you are a computer genious, you might find a better way to know it, allthough many people don't put their real info when signing up for an AIM account...

Im them and say "What's your name?"
Put the screenname into a search engine and see what comes up.

No, one of the reasons we/they don't give out their real name is for saftey issues. There isn't a way to find out the name unless you go to their e-mail/blog sight and ask.

there are 3 ways
1. Ask them
2. see if they're in the AOL directtory
3. google it, u never know, they may use that name in a forum and it'll show their real name
