okay why is it that...........?

okay why is it that om soap operas people never die i mean they one week on the soap operas and then next week they appear on another and sometimes come back as the same character whats up with that is it just me or are the soap operas getting on my nerves

The writers have to keep viewers tuned in so no one everyone ever dies because of that. I mean would you keep tuning in if your favorite character died. I probably would not.
