Are you trying to be a jerk to her by rubbing it in her face that's she's gained weight or are you actually asking if this is appropriate considering her weight gain?? I'd send it either way. Cheesecake is the best! And her weight issues are her own, but don't be too mean about the whole thing.

I really shouldn't be responding to this question. My divorce came final on the 23rd of December 2002, and I sent my ex-husband a Christmas card, and on the inside I wrote "You have just gave me the best Christmas Gift."

But since then I have moved on with my life, and he keeps trying to keep in touch, but I feel that I divorced him because I did not want anything else to do with him. We did not have any children, and he was very abusive emotionally, so I have a better life now.

This is your decision, if you want to be mean, and your ex deserves it then go for it. But if you want to cut ties and go on with your life, then don't, that will only give her satisfaction of knowing you are still thinking of her. You might be thinking of her in a bad way, but you are still thinking of her.

Hope this makes sense.

Maybe she was depressed after the divorce and turned to food for comfort. Sending her a cheesecake would just be adding salt to the wounds.

Have you ever wondered that maybe your divorce had something to do with her gaining weight before you started making fun of her???

that's rude. People gain weight when something is upsetting them and they use food to comfort them. You are the whole reason she is getting fat. Try comforting her in a different way instead of adding to the weight gain. I bet she loved you lots, so why would you want to promote her getting fat?

She's your EX so why in the hell are you worried about how much weight she has gained. Leave her alone and live your own life now.

Since she got rid of you she must have lost at least 300lbs first so 50lbs isn't much. Send the cake!
