Where do the fruit flies come from?

when it was being grown a fruit fly might have landed on it, and laid its eggs. a fly's egg is generally microscopic and cant be seen by the human eye. when they hatch and start to feed, is when they get bigger and turn into the flies you see now.

Most of the time you will bring home the eggs or larvae on the fruit, though sometimes the flies are there, just not in such great numbers due to the lack of fruit, because they feed on other things too.

The larvae are present on the fruit and then they mature into flies.
