I came from a jewish family on my mothers side, but my parents raised me without the influence of dogma. I still have a belief in god though I don't believe in the bible. I would rather side with judaism than christianity since christianity I feel gravely misinterprets the bible. I view the cross (especially when you have christ on it) as a graven image and as a strange god before god. Some day I will go and visit Israel, though I am opposed to zionism.
Kvetching about the lack of jews in the bible belt?
