The two can be mixed together....black pants, white shirt, black coat, black bow tie/tie... etc

Wow, um... yeah. are you really seriously asking this question? If it is a black and White party, it means that guys need to wear a black tie, white shirt, and a black suit and pants.

man wear black and white, ladies either white or black.I was also told that the ladies dress should be one color. men wear black slacks and suit coat and a white shirt. But who makes these rules anyway? As long its only black and white.

i would mix them, and add a red accent like a flower in your hair (if you are a girl!) or a corsage (boy). :)
