Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, INTEL. These are popular amongst those in the know.

I heard Foxconn is reliable too, but i don't know.

Stay away from
Asrock ( i which i had a buck for every one that goes bad), Pcchips, Jcorp or strange brands.

You should actually be more worried about the chipsets used on the motherboards.

I've always had good luck with ASUS brand motherboards. They are well-priced, and sport the latest features as soon as they are on market. But, I've never had any motherboard itself actually fail - only the odd hard drive...

My friend who is a techy freak (been building systems for 20 years) swears by Intel. He says anything else he has always seen problem after problem, but never with Intel. I'd go with that hands down.

The intel mainmoard is reliable,popular.it does not give any problems.
