you can have sex with your wife if she is pregnant. It may be a little uncomfortable when she is near the end and her belly is bigger, but it is not unsafe. Unless their is something wrong or a high risk pregnancy (which the doctor will tell you), there is no reason to not have sex with your pregnant wife.

Sex during pregnancy does not hurt the baby at all, if you are not rough. The baby is protected by the uterus, and sex is only in the vagina. The woman may experience a little bleeding because the cervix is extra sensitive.

I have heard that sex is best during the second trimester, when the feelings of nausea have passed, and the woman has more energy. I have also heard that sex can actually induce labor in the last few days if the couple is tired of waiting for their bundle of joy.

I think you can't have sex when it is a high risk pregnancy. But be gentle and take your cues from your woman. She will let you know if she wants to do it or not.

"They" are stupid...because there is nothing and I reiterate...NOTHING wrong with preggos...getting it on. I'm 23 weeks pregnant and every book I've read and every article I've read and my doctor says...sex is actually a good thing for pregnant women. The only thing you have to watch out for is finding positions that she is comfortable in...big baby belly does get in the way a bit...but when all else fails...do the deed doggy style...lol...

The only reason sex would be dangerous is if your wife has a "high risk" pregnancy, in which case, your doctor would advise you to take it easy or stop all together...which just means ...stop intercourse...it doesn't mean stop "everything"

Anyway...here's an informative article that will answer everything you wanted to know about the subject...and maybe some you didn't...lol

Good Luck..and have fun

You can have sex while pregnant all you want unless there is some medical reason why your wife shouldn't, but that is rare. She may not FEEL like having sex in the beginning if she has morning sickness, but as long as you two are in the mood...go for it!

There's absolutely no reason to stop having sex with your wife while she's pregnant. Unless...her OB-GYN is restricted her from having sex due to a high risk pregnancy. So..until then enjoy.
I believe when pregnant the sex is better..Pregnant wife of 3..with another one on the way.
To ensure you the most..consult with her OB-GYN.
FYI..another reason not to ask questions like this on here..quite of few users said..sex is dangerous for the baby..that's not so..LOL please consult with your DR before posting any other medical question on here. Seriously, having sex while pregnant is completely safe unless your Dr says otherwise!

You can have sex with your wife the entire pregnancy unless it is high risk. Unless your doctor specifically says no sex then tear that thing up. Sex made the stresses of my pregnancy easier.

Intimacy is good for an expecting mother, but it doesn't have to be in the form of sex. Massages and cuddling are some other ways for example.
Sex can help to open the vaginal area for when the time comes to push out that baby!

Ok, first of all, the baby is in an amneotic sac, so there's no "BAM" shower. Second of all, through the second and third a mother's orgasms actually soothe the baby to sleep. And if a woman's overdue, an orgasm can actually induce labor. So unless your doctor says otherwise, take the time now, before there's a screaming baby keeping you up all night!!!

You could harm the unborn baby, plus I don't think that a baby would really like to be sitting there minding it's own business and then BAM!! Gets showered in daddy's love juice. That's just nasty. Wait until 6 weeks after the baby is born (everything will have healed and you'll both be ready to go wild).
