I think....we (all kinds of lives on earth), human or animals are here for reasons not just a natural things. We all have 'ENERGY' the energy that belong to universe, the energy that move all the time, the energy that seek the form, and we chose it differently. I believe that human being is the highest level of energy form on earth that will take us back to universe (out of this Samsara:Transmigration;Wheel of Rebirth)...but it doesn't mean that every human could reach that 'GOAL'='NIRAVANA.....because of the ignorance of life, we are driven by lust and desire and let it drive us to the wrong destination : we all want and seek 'Happiness' but we don't know what is the real happiness....so this is why we are driven by lust and desire which these two are not real happiness, it is just an illusion.Why I say it is an illusion, because it is not permanant.So we have the best chance to learn and growth...take the most of it :-)

Many progressive theories sustain belief that your past life determines where you go next so what your past form was wheather it was good or bad will depend what form you take in the case of the question your past form details you being born as a human.

We are animals. We invented language and decided what to call everything, dogs , cats , rats etc. Who says we are privileged to be humans. Have you ever asked a horse if we are superior to them or a spider or a dolphin ? How do you know that the simpler creatures are not happier than humans in their existence ? The only way that we could be considered superior is that we have the ability to destroy all the others. Is that what its all about ? Aren't we clever. Given a choice I would swap with a termite any day. !!!

It was in our Fiat or maybe it was just a string of good luck ether way I am glad that I am a human and not a worm, cow, chicken, or some other animal because I might get eaten if that were so!

Wow, that's really deep. I guess if you are religious, then it is because you were a soul, and then you were put in a body. Or that you are at the human stage in your path to enlightenment. If you don't believe, then that which is you became aware in the form of a human.

So as to have the chance once a while to be an animal...just concentrate and choose one...piggie,honey bunny,pushycat,cute little doggy, flashing butterfly, wild cat, raging bull, salt dog etc.

We are lucky tht we not dog, cat or mouse..everyone born with some aim in life..u have to search urself or i guess do some gud work , charity, help others..make everyone smile..use ur brain n prove tht u are different not lik animal born with no aim in life
