i have noticed that when there are fights especially in high school people look but they don't even try to stop the fight.
I don't know about you guys but i don't like violence and when i see a fight i try to brake it up why don't other people do the same???

People are afraid to voice their opinion for fear of their own skin. I can take a beating and hold my head high, so I try to break up a fight even if it means getting a shot or two.

There are two types of fights: (1) Evenly matched ones where the guys are equally going at each other pretty good, and (2) unequal ones where one guy is getting creamed. Here's what I do in both situations: (1) Let them go. A fight is an exhausting experience and two guys who are giving as well as getting will tire out soon enough. Most of these fights don't last a minute anyway. (2) If the guy getting creamed really had it coming, then let it go for a little while but more than likely this is the one where I usually jump in to break it up. Girls are notorious fight-breakers and unfortunately I've seen some get really hurt. When in doubt, stay out.

All fights need a referee, when a guy has had enough there needs to be someone to step in and say "That's enough.". Otherwise it could escalate into something serious. I've been in a couple fights in high school and have lost some. Most times the crowd (or the other guy) knows when it over and should break it up. Fighting is ok, once its fair and doesn't disintegrate into a merciless beat down.

other people dont try to brake up fights because they like action and some high school kids are always starting things between other people anyway so thats kind of what they want to see a fight so i happy theres some good people left in the world.

Well, first of all the teachers are not permitted to break up the fight because of fear they might catch a disease from the blood.
I think for high schools the fear is more about becoming part of the fight.

Im not about to get myself hurt to stop two people from fighting. let the police or security do it, they are trained for it.
