Because we want to feel like we have power over the entire world...we just do it in a more politically sound way. I think that any country that wants em should have em...they are just trying to protect themselves from us. Our governments argument is that countries like Iran cannot be trusted because of the things that they have done in thier past and the way they have treated thier people...but look at our past....Where are the Native Americans again??? oh yeah and Slaves?? and Civil war...we are just Hypocrites

Also, all long-range nuclear missiles are suppose to be illegal. This was a result of the end of the cold war when all countries who had them were suppose to destroy them. I can still remember those big trucks carrying them to be destroyed here. It was a trip... they would close down portions of the highways when in transport. And there were towns fussing they were being destroyed too close to them.

But don't think I am niave enough to think we got rid of all of them.
