Well, for starters, why don't you start with some concealer to try and hide some of the acne, then use foundation, your skin won't look so pale with that on. Then top it off with translucent powder, it will also get rid of the shine. Also put a small line of blush on each cheek, just along your cheek bone but not too dark, this will give you the look of higher cheek bones. Just try a very light eyeshadow like a brown or a beige, something that is natural looking, if you already have long eyelashes, then you only need a touch of mascara. Eyeliner is optional depending on the look you want. Do the lipstick around the same colour as the eye shadow. The secret is to make it look natural. You never said what style your hair is, do you wear it up or down, don't let it hang in your face, that also wouldn't help the acne problem.

First of all - accentuate your eyes until the acne goes away. Use mascara! You're blessed with your lashes! For the acne, use a concealer with powder (pale) over the top, or a green (seriously!) powder - it counters the red (just don't use too much!). If you want to wear lipstick, don't go for a bright red, or a nude - that could wash you out. Maybe try a more plum coloured one. And lengthen your eyes with more mascara on the outer edges and maybe some eyeline flicks!

First off.. hit the dermotologist, or order some proactive.. that does take away from your natural beauty. Dont use foundation to cover blemishes because it will get inside holes and looked caked on. Use light shadow.. whites or natural on the eyelid, then apply a color like teal or purple to the top of your lashes.. always use lip gloss when you have dark features because it looks natural and smooth. Stay away from lipstick period. it will be too much with the dark hair and eyebrows. P.S.. confidence is key.. dont be so down on the negative parts about u.. accentuate the beauty in you.

Because you say that you have a long face, makeup could help you. Blushes and bronzers can contour your face, so your face does not look as long. Since we do not have the privilege of looking at your picture, I think you need to go to a department store and talk to a MAC representative so she can enlighten you.

a light pink lipgloss for some color on your face....
black mascara to bring out your eyes and show off your long lashes
maybe a bit of cover up for redness, but it's not that good to put it on (you can take pills to stop redness)

you're probably using the wrong products and/or shades. try contacting your local mary kay consultant at www.marykay.com and have them give you a facial and consultation. you don't always have to get their products, but it's a great way to figure out what you like and look best in.
