Landscapers always need extra help in the summer. You get to work outdoors and learn about plants and build muscles. Along similar lines, there is also the Forest Service. My mum said that working for them was her favorite job ever.
You could also try retail. It's not super glamorous, but it pays.
My stepmum says everyone should have to work as waitstaff in a restaurant at some point in their life. I agree. My favorite job to date was the summer I worked for a catering company. We did weddings and it was so much fun. It was hard work, too, but it paid really well and we got to take home the extra food and decorations. I always had fresh flowers in my room.

You sound as though you are pretty resourceful. Let's get up and on the matter right now. What do you like to do? Forget all those ridiculous job ideas out there. First of all, let's get ourselves a new notebook for this purpose. Let's begin with a list of things that you do best. Then you should make another list of new things that you have interest in doing as well. How are you with math, English, art, science and school subjects? Are you good enough to help someone else? I bet you really and truly are. You know that young people resist help with school work because they aren't crazy about help from adults. You already have a head start by being young. Start out by helping a few children in the block with their school work. Get your parents, other relatives and friends to help you make posters describing what you will offer, and what you expect to get paid for doing. AFTER you give them a trial 30 minutes with their child, you can tell them what your fee will be. Remember that you must research in the area where you live, what tutoring costs should be. You know that you are not a licensed teacher, so you have to weigh that into consideration. I know where you can find any type of job, you're seeking. Try this website http://www.snagajob.com as they have jobs for any age and you'll probably find what you've been looking for :) Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31 Don't forget about little old me and rate me those 10 points. I appreciate it. Good Luck!

If you lived where we are, fast food/restaurants are the only places you'd be able to get a job. You even have to be 18 to work at Subway. If you don't want McDonalds, try another restaurant. You are 16 - you need to start out small and work your way up. This is also another learning experience for you.

Is there a local minor league baseball field near you? You could be a ticket seller, or one of the girls that throw out the free t-shirts. We have one here and the employees seem to have alot of fun at their jobs. Good Luck.
