I have some ornamental trees that line my property. My as*hole neighbor plans on sueing me if i don't take them down. Does he have any right to sue. The trees are mine and are on my property. They put shade on his property for a part of the day, other than that, they do nothing to harm his property.

It is your property what is that as*hole even basing his complaint on?(please tell me cause i need a good laugh), oh wait let me guess, your beautiful trees are blocking his ability to get porn on his satellite, or he is not able to burn his skin to a crisp!

ITIS YOUR PROPERTY AND YOU MAY DO WHATEVER IS TO YOUR DESIRE ON IT, OR WITH IT. PROVIDING THAT THERE ARE NO ORDINANCES PREVENTING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. IF THE TREES HANG OVER ON HIS SIDE OF THE LINE, THEN HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO TRIM THEM AS HE SEES FIT.
BOTTOM LINE HERE IS IF HE HAS NOT BEEN INJURED IN THE EYES OF THE LAW, HE CANNOT SUE.
