Girls, make-up help???

Ok, i love cosmetics and i have a numerous amount. I'm going to SuperTarget today, and wanted to try something new, and i wanted to know what type of brand of make-up do u girls like and why. But only for eyes and lips, i don't wear anything else.

The best eye makeup I've ever used is not sold at Target. Make the investment and buy MAC eye makeup. The colors are vibrant, and when they're properly applied, the color lasts for 14 hours with no touch ups. I put my makeup on at 6 in the morning, and it looks the same until I take it off at 9 in the evening- but most all my makeup is MAC.

I like Mabelline and CoverGirl lipstick and gloss. The colors are pretty, and they dont feel funky after you put them on.

I really like Maybelline, cos I wasted too much money trying to experiment with make-up that didn't match my skin.

1. Determine if your skin has warm or cool undertones. If you have darker skin, accentuate your eyes with shadows and liners whose colors are richer and deeper in intensity.

2. Enhance a warm complexion with shadows that range between soft orange and rust, from honey to cinnamon. Choose liners that are soft to rich brown, and opt for brown or brown- black mascara.

3. Complement cooler complexions with shadows in varying shades of blue, purple and pink. Go with liners that are slate gray to soft purple, and wear black or dark gray mascara. Green flatters skin that has both warm and cool undertones. Blue-greens complement cooler complexions, and brownish, earthy greens enhance warmer ones.

4. Add glamour to a warm complexion with coppery or golden shadow. Pearly purple or silvery blue shadows will glamorize a cooler skin tone.


Tips:
Take some time to experiment with color. Head to your local department store and have a beauty consultant do each eye in a different color scheme to envision your possibilities.

The right brow shape will accentuate your eyes and enhance your features. Pencil in thin brows for more definition.

For your lips... Try a colored gloss or lip tint for a sheer hint of lip color.

Buy the colors that look good on you'not the ones that look good in the tube.

get maybeline eyeliner, get the paint-on one for a more sophisticating and defined look, get the regular for a smokey look. If you have a dark skin tone, get black, if you have a light skin tone, get gray or brown. If you have tan skin and brown hair, get brown eyeliner.

Get a shade of lipstick that is CLOSE to your natural lip color, or else it looks over-done.
