In the formation of a concept, reason is used to grasp the essential qualities of a being or class of beings. It is a being's essential qualities (qualities that all members and only members always have) that distinguish members of a class from non-members. An image of a being is always particular and the concept of the being is always universal (the same in all thinkers at all times). A word or term (language) is a conventional symbol or sign used to express a concept. A concept may be poorly formed (qualities, states, and relations not fully grasped) or well formed. The correspondence between language (symbol) and reality (being) is reason that forms a unifying and universal concept. Reason is the "bridge" between language and reality. It is in this sense that reason is said to be ontological (applies to being as well as to thought).

They do not correspond directly. This is not a good question as others have stated, this is a question that anyone with experience will know that context and delivery of messenger will affect the description, while perception of both messenger and listenener will further be influenced by many factors. Reality is immutable and clear, there are no multiple realities, unfortunately there are many interpretations out there.

It falls along the lines of native language influences man's thought process and ultimately his perception of reality. Over 10% or our world's cultures have no word for "love" in their native tongue.
You can't you experience a reality you can't interpret.
The concept could be introduced by another culture or philosophy, though.
