Leading our nation in the pursuit of freeing the innocent is Barry Sheck, (of the O.J. Simpson case, fame) with, "The Innocents Project". Go to the aforementioned dot "gov", for more. Good luck, & best wishes, and know you are not alone. {P.S.: Mr. Sheck was hired as an expert in the field of D.N.A. on behalf of the Simpson defense team, but in no-way believes in O.J. Simpsons innocents.}

Appeal the conviction, File writs. Don't give up and don't give in.
Contact the ACLU and every criminal defense lawyer and appeallate lawyer in the phone book, you may strike gold by finding one who will take it Pro Bono. Talk to instructors at the law schools.
Read the news articles about the case and see if there was a reporter who seemed sympathetic to the guy's story, or one who seems a touch hostile to the tactics of law enforcement.
Get a copy of the Case file, transcripts and all, try to find out what the chain of custody and methodology was when the computer "evidence" was "found"
Good luck!
