I know you want to avoid icy cold drinks when its hot, because your body may reject them. Especially if you are working out or dehydrated, its better to drink room temperature or only slightly cool water. But hot drinks dont sound that good for you either.

Many alternative health practioners say that any drink that is too hot OR too cold is a shock to your system and not good. Drinks should be room temperature.

Room temp drinks are best. However a hot drink will promote sweating which is rhe body's way of cooling down.
