I have that same problem every year, and have tried filling the need by watching other sports and its just not the same, the solution is.. playing hockey and drinking lots and lots of beer... soon enough hockey will start again so that I can watch my beloved Leafs not even make the playoffs... *tear tear*

Read books about hockey. There's lots of good ones out there.

If you live in Canada...TRUST ME hockey is never over...
They will talk about the awards show for a couple of days,the draft for an entire week or more then July 1st ... is UFA . trades and signings.When you take a breath the season will have started again.

read canada russia 72 its a great book about the best hockey series ever it had everting action also the most memerable goal in hockey history

Rent or buy Slapshot, and watch it over and over again. Youngbloods as well.
Mystery Alaska is a pretty entertaining hockey movie too.
