Hi,
Yes, I got permenant make up done on my eye brows. It's been since 2001 and there just now fading a bit and need to be re-done. I paid $130.00 but had a coupon.(it was 5 yrs ago, I have no idea of a fair price now) It hurt a little. Not bad. I'd do it again and if you have a good place let me know. I need to touch mine up. Everyone says they look great and cannot even tell that I had them done. My friend did not have a good experience with the eyeliner. It came right off and she couldn't get reimbursed. I guess it depends on who you go to. Check out the before & after pics and ask about fading and reimbursement if your not satisfied.

I have never had my make-up tattooed but I would imagine that it would eventually fade if it is eye liner and that it probably wouldn't be such a good idea to have a need being poked in so close to your eye. Have you considered the cause and effects as to what may or may not happen if the tatoo artist slips. Accidents do happen. I am not in any way trying to scare you, just trying to make you aware. (Plus your eyes are going to probably be bruised in swollen so you might be walking around with some shiners for a week or two.)

I personally haven't gone through the pain of this. My aunt had her eyeliner tattooed on. She said it was very painful and she couldn't drive herself home. She also had to go back 2 more times to get to the level of dark that she wanted. Now it has been about 6 years since she had it done and it looks horrible. I wouldn't advise getting makeup tattooed on.

Uhh why would you do that?? If you think it makes you look hot, think about the high risk of infection or discolorations when you get a bit older. Remember, as a teen you make some bad decisions. So if it has anything to do with your body, wait til you're at least about 20. I know this sounds stupid, but when you're in your 60's or 70's you'll definitely regret it.

my ex-wife did that to her eye brows. i recommend that you NOT do it and it is not because of the pain.
as tatoos get older they fade and often turn a different color. you will need to have the tatoo redone or touched up as you get older.
also, have you thought about when your hair turns gray/white? you will have to continually dye your hair the same color as your tatoo.
furthermore, you will never be able to dye your hair a different color without looking, at a minimum, odd.
last but not least, i just dont think it looks right.
perhaps these things dont matter to you, and if not, GO FOR IT. as long as YOU are happy with what you look like. your significant other can either learn to love that about you, or find someone else. but at least your should consider your body in (what you probably consider to be) the distant future.
good luck in what ever you decide.

I had my eyebrows done and it was totally worth it. It was about $100, but that was nine years ago. My mom just paid $100 for her eyebrows too and she is very content with the results. My suggestion is to go to someone who is skilled and knows what she is going. The process is painful, but I personally think that it is worth it.

My friend's mom tattooed her lips with lip liner. It doesn't look good anymore. Don't try it. It'll look so bad later on.
