I hate the sound of speeding cars at night, when the streets are empty, and there are only a few stray dogs and maybe an old drunk trying to go somewhere, and you know that the driver of that car does not care at all about anything else but pushing this engine to its maximum. And I am trying to sleep, and hundreds and hundreds of people are trying to sleep, but there is this one stupid egoistic maniac driver who doesn't get it. And it happens EVERY night.

One seadoo turning in circles at the other end of an otherwise peaceful lake can also make a sound that I find very difficult not to hate.

A person chewing with their mouth open. My mother does this all the time and it drives me crazy. It is even worse because she used to tell me to close my mouth all the time. Darned double standards. Blessed be.
