My husband and i are trying to get pregnant. We've been trying for 4 months now. I dont know if Im pregnant yet this cycle but i was still wondering what positions are good to concieve. And are there any techniques that we could try to help the process along?

According to the AMA, Doggie and Girls legs around guys shoulders offer the best chance of becoming pregnant. The reason for this is rather odd when you think about it but logical.
The reason is gravity. For doggie, entering her with her face down in the bed forces the sperm to run down hill. Lying on your back with your feet in the air around his neck or shoulders offers the same chance.
There is a wealth of information on the internet to support this. Some say have sex in the missionary position then elevate your bottom for 10 to 20 minutes (the minutes vary) to allow the sperm cells to move down to the uetereus for conception.

I read in a book one time that if a woman is on top the it is harder for the sperm to reach the egg, but I don't know if that makes a difference. I don't think that it is about the positions, I believe that it is about the timing. Maybe you should try about two weeks after you period. That is the time that you are most likely to be ovulating.

I tried for 5years and just finally got pregnant. The position used was he lays on his side and I straddle my legs over him. After we were finished I rolled over and went to bed. I also have a tipped uterus and was told to lay on my stomach after.

Doggy style and missionary are good, (Gravity works right?) and then lay for about 20 minutes after having sex if you can, with your hips elevated.

ive heard that doggy style is best because of deeper penetration and afterward you should lay on your back with your feet in the air...Also he shouldnt be wearing tighty whites. Boxers the whole time let more sperm survive...When your balls are too close to the body they are too warm and kill the sperm.
