I'd love to see the Dutch win this. No one dives as much as the Argentines, and that doesn't deserve to be rewarded.
Besides, they still cheated in 1986.

Are you from the Netherlands? I really hope so, because if you are not then your country is probably not even in the tournament, and that's pretty lame. I'm from Argentina, and think we have a really strong team. If you watched the game then you realized Argentina was not only defending, but was also more aggressive than Holland, and they deserved to score... just be happy buddy that the final score was not similar to the one with Serbia... Holland is a good team, but let's see how they manage against Portugal... Argentina is in good shape but we are low profile high performance... Our team is just trying to stay focused and look forward to each game, and let the best team win!
What really gets me is why you wanted Holland to beat Argentina badly??? Out of curiosity dude!!!???? I hope is cuz' u r from Holland!

Well no... I am Portuguese but I would like, SURPRISINGLY FOR SOME, Argentina to win... Why's that ? Because Holland has in the past been helped too much by referees. Argentina is the ONLY team in the World Cup right now who deserves, with Portugal to be in the finals. And if referee decisions are on average OK, then I will be sitting here to watch a final between Portugal and Argentina and BITING MY NAILS because it is cool (as my daughter says) to admit it when your opponent is as much a giant as you are and the Argentinians are a SUPERB team at the moment and I am scared sh_t of them, LOL !! --ON the other, my friend, who says that Portugal will not destroy the Argentinians ? Let's hope it is not vice-versa .

I sure as hell DO!!!! I'm an English supporter 1st and foremost, but I'm also an avid Dutch, German, and Brazilian fan as well. All those countries have a rich football history, many of the greatest players (past and present) come from these nations, and, well, they all just play damn good football. I've been an ardent Argentina-Basher since Mexico City '86 (Mr. Coke head), and then again in France '98 (the Beckham incident, and they still couldn't beat us in regulation time AND extra time...even with 11 players!!)...and I love seeing anyone beat them, especially when it's 1 of my favourite teams. I'm hoping for some of that Dutch "Total Football" magic I saw in France '98 when Bergkamp (my man up front at Arsenal...along w/Henry and Ian Wright) caught that beautiful De Boer pass from the other side of half, pulled it down ever so deftly with his right foot, tapped it just gently enough to the left while stopping and changing direction to avoid the defender, then finishing it all off with a cheeky flick of the outside of his right foot to bury it in the top left corner of the net....the opposite side no less.....so....HELL YEAH, I want Holland to beat the tar out of Argentina!!!!...and then go further ;)
