i feel that way too sometimes, i'm 10 weeks!
Sometimes i look huge when i'm bloated!
YOu may feel uncomfortable or like a house!
And most women start to show more around 5 months! (where people can tell you are pregnant!)
Good Luck!

You are only 12 weeks. At this point, the baby is only the size of a lima bean. No wonder you aren't seeing anything.

First time moms tend to not show very early. Usually not until 20-25 weeks along. Some show sooner, some later. It all depends on your body.

I wouldn't worry about it, before long you will wish to go back to the time you could fit into your favorite jeans, or wear something without elastic in the waist.

If it is your first pregnancy, usually the stomach muscles are not very stretched out yet, so you do not show as much as you will in later pregnancies at this stage. Also, it might be a genetic tendancy in your family to have smaller babies, or you might be a smaller person yourself so your baby will be smaller. Don't worry, you will start to show more and more as time goes by. I know it is hard to be having just internal symtoms and not have anything to show" for it, but A LOT is going on in there! Just make sure you take your prenatal vitamins, get adaquate nutrition, and go see the Doctor or Midwife regularly. I've had 4 babies myself, and read many books along the way to help me understand the process (and asked questions as you have!) so that is how I know all this.

That is very normal... This is my third pregnancy and one day I would pregnant, and the next morning, my tummy would be flat... My stomach is still not hard either., therefore, I believe this is the reason why this happens.. Once your belly is hard all around then, no matter what, you will always look pregnant. I started showing with my daughter at seven months, son, at six and this one, I do not know, as I am still not showing . . . So answer to your question, yes it is normal...

This is normal. You are on the border of "showing" so some days it might be apparent to you, other days not. At this point it might just be "hopeful thinking" but you will be showing soon. Typically a woman starts showing in the 3rd or 4th month of pregnancy, perhaps later for a first pregnancy.

This reminds me of a question they asked on "Family Feud". It was the final round and they were asking the question, "One hundred people surveyed, name the month of pregnancy when a woman first starts showing." The contestant blurted out "August!" and Richard Dawson began to laugh and had to stop the clock as he composed himself.

It is most likely do to water and bloating. At 12 weeks the baby is the size of a small strawberry. If this is your first pregnancy you will probably not really show untill your mid 5th month. By six months your will really start to pop out.
Watch your salt and sugar intake. Drink lots of spring water, get moderate excerise such as walking etc.

12 wks is too early too show, you'll start showing by 5-6 months, after your second trimester your belly will just totally inflate. It's rough in the first two trimesters because you're too big for your clothes and too small for maternity clothes, but it'll all be over before you know it.

Hang in there and good luck!

i never really showed when carrying my youngest clear up to when I delivered him. In fact when I showed up at the hospital the nurse thought my sis-in-law was the one pregnant not me and she wasnt pregnant at all. Although it really depends how you are carrying your baby. Although really in all reality 12 weeks is a bit too soon to show alot. You may be one of the lucky ones that just dont show that much really though .Go see your Doctor if your concerned about this matter though as your talking bout yours and your babies health here.

I am only six weeks, and of course, I haven't noticed a change in anything at all. My mother-in-law was saying though, she didn't pop out until seven months, like she could wear her normal clothes up until that point. I guess it just depends on you, everyone's different it seems.
