Why is it that girls always have this dream of walking down the isle and wearing a big fancy dress and spending a absolute fortune???
I don't have that dream would much rather be in a relationship with someone i love and spend the money on having fun.
Just wondering!!!!!

It's just something little girls like to dream about. I would rather have a quiet ceremony on the beach or outside somewhere and then spend money on an awesome honeymoon.
I think eloping to Vegas would be fun too though!

When you get married, you are saying that you will be with that person for eternity. You are committing yourself for a life time - telling the person that they are the one you want to spend your entire life with. It is the basis of having a family also, which is a dream for most women, it's natural to be a mother, and instinct also.

when i got marraid to me it more of the fact that you are showing your love to each other and having the poeple you care about there to witness it all thats romantic on its own let alone alll the other stuff like dress and flowers just comes after and is not the main reason that someone should want to get married
my dream was just to have someone to truly love me

I don't know too many girls lately she their marriage as the pinnacle of their life. And that it all goes down hill from there.
Instead they should see it as the part and start of better things to come. Marriage should be nice and stylish and all but it should be fun and affordable and not bankrupt whoever is paying for it.

I have NO idea.. I bought an $80 dress on ebay, and sold it a week later. I kept it cheap and easy...it was only ONE day out of the rest of our lives! And I didn't want to drop a ton of money on ONE day...

me, my bloke, my son, 2 witnesses and the registrar... that is a list of everyone who was there when I got married. Neither of us wanted a big wedding and as we never set foot inside church it seemed a bit hypocritical to get married in one. My wedding day was great, I wouldn't change a thing!

i don't know but i think its bcuz they see it on tv and it looks cool.but some its bcuz they can't find the right guy so the look for the right girl
