For those who are already addicted, it's ok, but how about the others, if you know it's not good for health, why you still try anyway?

I don't smoke now, and I don't plan on it, but I know that a lot of people smoke because they are under pressure. Smoking is like drinking. A lot of people when they get stressed drink, and some people smoke. I know when my friend was going through a divorce she started to smoke. She didn't get addicted to it but she still smoked. Another reason people might do it is because their friends smoke and they are under the influence. Hopefully I answered your question.

People tend to want to look cool and fit in with everyone else. I am not a smoker and I have been in many social situations where I feel like a total dork standing there with everyone else who is smoking.

Not being a smoker myself, I can only guess. But I'd say probably curiosity, with the intention of it only being a one-time thing. Of course, that's when the habit kicks in...

some think that smoking is cool .some are just imitating their favorite actors.it is because they do not respect life but soon they will and then they will realize their mistake.
