From my experience with online marketing, I can tell you that you are very limited in making any kind of income off of the internet if you don't have a lot of money to put into it. There is just way too much competition and more people willing to put more money into it than you. If you want to give search marketing a try tho, here are some sites for you to check out. Sign up for as an affiliate for CJ, then select which company you want to market. Then use Google Adwords to begin marketing your advertiser. You may want to build a good website to help with business, but it is not completely necessary. You will have to pay for you advertising on Adwords, and it is based on per-click. Hope this helps, but there isn't much opportunity in e-commerce unless you have plenty of start up money.

Google Adwords: adwords.google.com

Start a blog. Write really interesting stuff. Get lots of visitors. Sell Advertising.

Very cheap to get started. No more than $10/month.. but if you're writing is reeaaally interesting, you could do it for free on blogger.
