I love the movie, I just am so lost can someone clue me in please????

***SPOILER ALERT***
In order to understand the movie best, (it is exactly like the first poster said), but to really get it, the actual movie starts right at the love scene on the sofa, right after she makes the coffee. The first half of the movie is really the second half. Anyways, she is wearing a robe in the kitchen making coffee, but when she walks out into the living room, she is wearing shorts. That is the actual beginning of the actual story. When you get to the end of the film, then you jump back to the very beginning, like a mobius strip.

Well it appears that the first half of the film is a dream that takes place in a second because the main character blew her brains out after having her "girlfriend" executed by a hit man. The director says there is no real sense to it but if you watch it the above explanation does make sense.

I have tried to figure it out myself. It's even more obscure than Blue Velvet. I finally told myself that there is no right explanation and to just enjoy the beautiful lesbian love scenes.
