Which One is better? why? Which Comic Is your favorite from either of them? why?

I think Marvel has better characters. More interesting and easier to relate to.
Lately DC has been very well written and had compelling stories. However,I just have trouble relating to the characters. They are all too perfect, too powerful and way too "larger than life".
I prefer Marvel because I can relate to the characters better. Other than Thor each of the main Marvel characters have a trade off to their powers. They are either insecure and guilt ridden (Spider-Man), horribly disfigured (Thing), mentally retarded (Hulk), outcasts of society (X-Men), or have various other difficulties.
Those are more realistic characters that I can relate to. Who can relate to a handsome man who is far and away the most powerful being on earth, had wonderful parents who gave him a sickeningly high moral backbone, can do anything he wishes is to good to give into the temptation to be anything but perfect. DC characters are boring.

Up till recently DC had the better books, but now the Civil War, Annihilation, and Planet Hulk storylines are way more interesting than 52.
DC may end up have the better story, because the way they formatted 52, it will have way way more depth than any story has ever had.
Marvel has got one of the most interesting stories in a while in Civil War. The Planet Hulk thing will be good to watch because you wat to see how powerful he becomes and if he will destroy earth.
My favorite Marvel title is The Ultimates because it is so well written and you never know what is going to happen.
My favorite DC title is Teen Titans it was good before crisis but it has gotten so much better with One Year Later.

DC is better i got a comic book(Marvel VS DC) and it had "champions" from each world and DC wouldve beaten Marvel if something didnt get in the way

Marvel is far far better in my opinion. I could never get into DC Comics and thier charecters.

marvel is much better. they have better writers like garth enis on punisher. DC has some good ones but Marvel is where its at.

Marvel comics, since they have some pof the better superheroes, like X-men, Fantastic 4, and thier super heroes have powers! (Im looking at you batman...)
