If you are having sex more than once a day, he will probably have a low sperm count, which will reduce the likelihood of getting pregnant.

If his sperm count is normally okay, then sex once a day is fine. If it is borderline or low, then once every other day is preferred to give him a chance to build up a bigger supply. If you're not sure, you can take your chances either way.

Yep, that's probably too much. Get to know your cycle. Find out when your most fertile days are by checking cervical mucous and basal temps. Then, bd once a day during that time OR every other day. It takes a while for dh to build up a good amount of sperm for each try. So, if you're bd'g twice a day, he doesn't have the time to build up many! If dh has good sperm count and motility, then bd'g every day during your fertile time will be fine...happy bd'g! Also, don't let 3 days go by w/o bd'g, those little spermies get lazy and unreliable.

BTW, I also found that lying there afterwards ALL night got me pg every time. Never worked when I elevated my hips...just lie there after bd'g and go to bed...worked twice for me!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Just like the reply before this one, you have to sleep on the bed after sex and dont stand up and walk. That way the sperm will work its way where they need to go. Hope it helps good luck!
