Being that many people make their lives out of the internet.. many young people depend on it, and so on.. How would it affect us if we didn't have it suddenly..or will it last forever?

The Internet is here to stay for the foreseeable future. It will evolve, probably get easier, and if sci fi is any indicator, we may end up like the Borg, physically hooked up to what is becoming something of a universal consciousness.

I think it will last for a long time. Nowadays many businesses depend on the internet for their transactions. It also save a lot of time on research and paper. It makes it easy for people to communicate and find information "everyday". Unfortunately it is also used for negative activities like pornography, hate groups or websites. But it does more good than bad. I don't think we could live w/o anymore, so if we didn't have it anymore will be like going back to the stone era, that's not gonna happen

Well .. it really hasn't been around that long so I am sure we would cope but it is very very rare that a technology ever "goes away" .. especially one that so much money is made from. The only thing that could really do it is a global war or something of that nature and if that is the case the Internet would be the least of our worries!

well thats simple if the internet is not anymore in existence, then they would have no other choice an dfind other means to survive. the people before did it so who are they now! i think that people should only spend about twice a week on the internet because it sometimes capture ur mind a little too much.

i think it will last and improve much more...humans would go nuts and define themselves almost worthless, cause alot of things the computer figures it out for them....the computer does all the math, calculations etc.

It would be terrible for me if internet was vanished. It would kill our economy and wisdom to learn more.
