A local flea market, ebay, contact your nearest art institute to see if they would have a look or steer you in the right direction surely they would have expertise in this area.

Why not have a gallery? Go to a local coffee house and see if they will let you hang your paintings for a month with price tags on them. This way they've done all the selling for you and you can get your art work out there into the public eye. Give the coffee house owner 10% off each of the sales you make there.

Now if you really want to push it, make some cards up for contact information and the address to a website where people can see your other work that wasn't displayed. Make sure you have some kind of contact information (it might not hurt to include
the word "SAMPLE" across your website pictures so no one can just print them)
Also, you may even want to include the words graphic artist on the card. If someone really likes your style they may want to pay you to draw something specific for them which is always awesome.

OMG I LOVE THEM! Especially the harry potter ones! If your quick enough at drawing things like that, you could set up a sketching booth in a local market day in town! But maybe you could also buy some cheap, but good looking, frames and put some well known drawing of people or characters and selling them as well! I swear If i saw you I would pay money just to watch you!

another way is to offer a painting or drawing as a fundraiser for a local cause and this will allow for exposure among the art buyers in your genral public, get you on a sponsor listing and help you make contacts also you can do a little profile to have announced over and over during the event or written for the event on their brochures and in local newspapers/magizines. kinda like a free single gallery showing. Also you can write it off as a donation on your taxes after everyone starts to buy all your work and make all that money you been dreaming of banking.

I would suggest going out to a public place, and draw. Have a picture of what u are attempting to draw. Maybe place a lil box there for someone who enjoys watching u. if ur full of talent someone will take notice. It may take some time but have patience.

If there is a farmer's market or arts/crafts fair in your area, you could team up with another person to get a booth... maybe a wood-worker.

If you ended up sharing a booth with a wood-worker, the 2 of you could create a deal where someone could buy a drawing and a frame, maybe 10% off both if they buy at your booth?

if you wanted to do it online, you could create a profile on Deviantart.com - if you can produce prints of your drawing you can do very well. It's one of the most popular online art communities, and even if you don't fo with selling prints, you can still get some exposure by putting your drawings up on a profile.

You can always go to the local Farmer's Market. It is a good place to sell your drawings.
