I had the same problem, It turned out to be a virus. I would scan your computer and check you host files for anything that refers to 127.0.0.1

Yahoo seems to be now gearing everything around their advertisers in order to gain more revenues.
Probably going to result in someone like google swinging in under them and coming out with something new for all of us who don't want all the ads!

yahoo mail is down for a little bit. keep trying it works some times
