Because they are trying to adopt the black culture so as to be cool. As you said, it looks whorish.

Influences. The media does have impact on what people wear. Think of old shows... like Saved By The Bell... those clothes look goofy as hell now, but at the time, that was cool. It's the same today. People wear things that they see famous or "cool" people wearing.
I also think that the changes in fashion have to do with people pushing their boundaries. There are always rebels who want to do something different, new, risky, and exciting. A long time ago, it was considered slutty if you showed your ankles... now it's just a lot more extreme

PARENTS thats why. I dont care how much media allows it. If a parent would stop there kid there kid would listen. My kids dont go out like that and they love MTV and that stuff.
It all depends on what you do with your kids. If you are part of there life they will always make the right choices and even though they might be out and about they do think about what you say and do.
No one to blame but ourselves then. Just like kids now are all fat, jee wonder where they get that from. I see 1 out of 3 kids wearing tight closing and there bellies sticking out i mean these girls are FAT and yet they feel that its ok. They do it cause now the issue is im proud of whom im. truth of the matter is no they are not, but they try to fit in and play it off.

Some do but they shouldn't be blamed for it cos the media rams skanky images down their throats and puts them under massive pressure to look and act a certain way. Teenagers don't control the media, adults do. Teenagers are forced to grow up way too fast.

Several reasons: parents allow their children to dress that way, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton dress that way, and the others are just ugly and need to dress that way so guys will notice them.

Because fashion mags and celebrities have poisoned the minds of the teens of this age. Everyone wants to be sexy no matter what the age or IQ. Its terrible that we are teaching our little girls that you have to dress like a tramp to be noticed.

Because it's our fault. Adults are the ones who control the media, and from the examples we set, they follow. Teenagers can't be blamed for everything.

Because girls see "ho's" in magazines, music videos, and movies, and they see that most boys are into it, so they think thats how girls should dress.

wow im a teenager im 16 an i dont dress like a hoe!!! some gurls do becasue dats there style an u must have a differnt style then them becasue u r callin them hoes!!!!!!!
