T-Mac could be an MVP candidate BUT the only thing that hurt his status is his back. the rockets had a horrible record without Mac, so that just proves that his team cannot win without him. His back is the only thing that hurt his status because he left like sometime in December or January. he didn't get to play the whole season and to be considered an MVP candidate, a player must play a certain amount of games. i wouldn't be surprised if the rockets trade him now or if they don't want to sign him after his contract is up. his back is only prolly gonna get worse from now on. so that's gonna play a huge factor in decision of the rockets to resign him or not. overall, he did mean a whole lot to the rockets, so i think that should have made him an MVP candidate.

T-Mac is an MVP candidate because he plays hard and has exceptional talent. Even thoughit didn't happen for him in the finals he still plays hard. He has his own style (doesn't try to be like anybody else). He is still an asset to any team. He has his down times as does any player.

NO ONE, if he can stay healthy for a year or maybe a month, oh and maybe if the rockets could win, maybe he'd get some votes
