at the bottom of the screen when you ask your question, before you post it there is a checkbox that you uncheck to stop them from sending the answers to your inbox.

Mark them as Junk and they'll stop coming into your inbox and go into your junk - your junk folder cleans its self out once in a while.

Click on your profile. It will say "Edit my details". Click on it and scroll down. there will be a box checked that says "Allow answers to be delivered to my email box". Unclick it. And hit update! You are done.
This will make it so that it never ends up in your box, and you don't have to uncheck it every time you ask a question.

When you ask a question it asks at the bottom 'Do you want answers to be emailed to you as they're posted?' it's automatically checked. Sorry if this wasn't what you meant.

You might have not noticed that little check box in the lower left hand corner that goes
"Email notification". It is section 4. Uncheck it.
