i think its a waste of money, the people who made the rule of downloading free music is illegal never do anything about it anyways.

If a one of my favorite bands like slipknot, korn, slayer, or a few others release a CD I always buy the actual CD from the store, because I like to support my favorites and like having the feel of a real CD. However if I see a band that I haven't heard of on like Headbanger's Ball or something like that I usually find free downloads from sites like limewire.

i sometimes pay when i have the money but then sometimes i don't.
actually they do do something about it look what happen during Napster, kids got sued for thousands, Most settlements have been about $3,000, though some have gone as high as $4,000.
everyone is talking about Limewire these days, don't you think they are not watching it by now.

I do, I read on business weekly they are coming with a new wave of sues for those that are not paying. 99 cents is not bad and I rather to pay that than thousands later.

I buy the albums that I like, and the ability to access them online has saved me HUNDREDS of dollars on really pathetic albums with one or two ok songs. If I download it, and the album is horrible, it is deleted...if it's worthy of purchase, still deleted, as I buy the cd.

When you pay for a download it is guaranteed not to go **AA*A(&*&AA*^*^A*A*&A(&)*A after 5 or 6 seconds. Also, no radio copies or wrong info...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
Most sites allow you to download whole albums for $10,
better than any store.
