Black people and money?

i just asked a question about how black people treat money like its something that will get rotten,and ppl started sending hate mails.can i not express myself?Is it a lie that money is new to them?If not,y didn't we see alot of them helping victims of Katrina and thier other folks in Africa.Then we hear them say the president hates blacks.Pls cut the crap.first help urself and others of ur kind and others will see and follow.

First. I suggest that you specify what type of black ppl you are reffering to. I assume that you have had little exposure to ALL levels of the black diaspera. (must suck livng in a small undiversified suburb huh?!) Though not as accessible as the token low-income african american you've heard about watching Jerry Springer, there are a plethora of well to do blacks that have had the experience of EARNING a living...a LUXURY i may add that their parents,grandparents, and positive communities have created for them!

Now, the reason you have recieved hate mail...simply because ppl respond to ignorance with ignorace! I suggest you choose your words more carefully and grow up!

Do you have any proof that black people didn't help as much as white people during hurricane Katrina? Do you have a database of information of the race of all the donors to hurricane Katrina disastor relief effort? No you don't, you have no clue who gave what or how much, you are just taking information from your A**, because you are racist and prejuduice, and I recommend you get help. Also blacks make up only 12% of the US population and even less in US wealth is even if you gone to a random charity drive, it's unreasonable to find more than 12% blacks there, but I'm sure there were no stupid racist hypocrites like yourself.

Look, this isn't hate mail, but it really isn't fair to stereotype like that. Not all black people like rap. Not all black people are gangsters. Not all black people are treating their money like it will go rotten. It's because of people with views like yours, is why SOME black people haven't had the same opportunities as everyone else.
Oh and by the way- Oprah donated 10 million to the Katrina relief.
My advice- get out of your shell- experience the world beyond stereotypes.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I'm a black person, I have money and I helped victims of Katrina. As far as helping out "their other folks" in Africa, I'm American. I think all of us need to concentrate on helping anyone who needs it. Race doesn't come into it for me. What black people do you know? Do you know any black people? Why have you asked this same question 4 times? All I can say is, widen your social circle. There are plenty of black folks who are involved in helping themselves and others. I don't think the President hates black people. With the exception of his buddies, I think he's done this whole country a disservice, it's not limited to minorities.

well, first of all, i'm white, so i'm not biased or anything, and second of all, what makes you think that white ppl spend all of their money helping "their people" and the economy? believe me, i live in hickville, usa, and i see soo many ppl abusing welfare and being greedy and whatnot. i also see a lot of african americans in my neighborhood that have waaaay more money than i do and they're the ones on the school board and church councils, running charity events and such. i don't know where you're from, but you better get your facts straight first before you categorize ppl like that... you could express yourself if you had a basis for your opinions. the truth is, they help out as much as anyone else, you're just using the stereotypes of the ghettos and such. and for the record- PRESIDENT BUSH DOES HATE BLACKS!! HE'S A JACKASS!

No, money is nothing new to me, I own and rent several apartments and have a business that employs 25 people. Now, what do you or your parents have. You can absolutely express yourself. But if you are going to blatantly and publicly segregate people according to the color of their skin, and refer to a race of PEOPLE as "others of ur kind" then you should expect to get hate mail. It's common sense. But I'm willing to bet that you don't have much of that. I'm also willing to bet that you aren't expressing yourself with this little rant, but reiterating the opinion of some belligerent pundit. Way to solve the world's problems, bud.

Money is not new to us...and about us not helping out our people..we do it all the time..just because it's not mentioned, doesn't mean we don't do it..alot of our people helped out Katrina victims. we sent clothes, shoes, money, etc..Oprah for instance built homes...u know wat, u don't even deserve an explaination. That's just your opinion..and you're right you are entitled to it..good luck!
