The Indians I know at my college don't do that. I never witnessed this behavior when talking to any of them. Probably just cultural. Cultures are different.

Each origin of a person has something attached to his mannerism. Not only your reference to moving of heads, all of 'us' Indians start with a negative whether hindi or tamil or anyother language. Others do have their mannerisms. As long as you move your head left to right and right to left a few times (and not up and down) when your dinner plate is being filled it is good for your health.

Wrong.
Indians live in Teepees and make woo woo woo noises by slapping the palm gently on there mouth while making what would otherwise be one long wooooo noise.
This would usually be done while running from cowboys.

because in their country.. their heads are attached by little swivel screws. it is a law there. sort of like the dogs in the back of car windows those bobble heads.. .. they have no control over that. it just moves all around at indiscriminate times.

This is part of the art of distraction. Did you notice that you can never really quite get an answer if you ask them anything. It's good avatars are not animated :)
