So why do girls where such skimpy clothing now a days? Why is it that you would want boys to think about you sexually? Last night I go to play tennis with my wife, some girl shows up with her brother wearing only a bra and practically underwear. Why there are clothes that are comfortable and proper. WHY? I really don't believe that comfort should be the answer.

I'm a sixteen year old girl that tries to dress conservatively and modestly. But, there is a draw to wearing barely there clothes. There is a lot of pressure to be beautiful. A lot of girls try so hard. I've noticed that when girls wear something arousing they get an instant reaction. Maybe one day they wore a really pretty blouse and spent an extra 20 minutes on their hair, and no one said anything. Getting attention makes you feel beautiful. Even if it's not exactly the type of attention that would be preferable.
I agree that this is a problem. It's not the way people should think. More people should appreciate the beauty, not the sexuality. Maybe if the media, and everyone else in this country, put less emphasis on the body we might have less inappropriate clothing revealing all secrets.

First off, it took a lot of work to make our bodies fit enough to wear such an outfit. Secondly, we would not be doing if it there was no demand for it out there. Third, if I am playing tennis and I can wear such clothing without cellulite bulging out of everything, I really don't care what you think, I am going to go comfortable. The fact that you looked tells me something...if it offends you, don't look..same thing as the TV principle. If I am comfortable in such an outfit, I will wear it. If I am comfortable on the tennis court in a full suit, it is none of your business. Besides, if guys can show up on a golf course in what they were, which is very offensive to the eye, why can't women show up in something they look good in and are comfortable playing tennis in. It is a personal preference for all of us and this, last time I checked, is America, home of the free. Sorry, but that is what I see from your remark. Have a great day!!

well sports bras and bike shortsd are OK for tennis and a few sports for comfort and being able to breath in the clothes, but i have to agree with the skimpy outfits. its just to get attention since they think theyre not worth anything else and are desperate for the oppostie sexs' attention. So they feel wanted. but that ios just wrong.

OK, for one dont judge all of us just because some girls do dress like that. There are still girls who dont dress like that and are more conservative. Just because a girl dresses skimpy also does not mean she's doing it for comfort either. Hope this helps thanx for 2 points

what u mentioned was the state of a "girl"....perfect wording....until the "girl" grows up;obtains some sort of sense; her class will increase(hopefully). Its all about being a "lady",a mature grown woman with dignity and confidence & she clearly did not posses these qualities. Comfort is not the answer; you're absolutely right....like I said class is the key to sucess and exceptional perception from others.

I don't know man. I have noticed that too. You probably can tell that I am not one of the stupid spoiled horses.
(Kind of sorry to whoever wears that stuff) I just do not see any point in showing off your body so much that you're basically wearing lingerie. I think of it as unethical.

simply becaus kids are growing up quicker and more sexually aware nowadays. alot to do with how the media works, they grow up with it and it becomes the norm. britney spears wearing feck all ,christina ,etc etc etc.go's on and on. nothing on tv shocks anymore. kids and adults see it all. the world has gone mad !!! kids have sex now at unbeleive low age. I wonder y ?? they see and adopt it through every form off media available. tv,magazines,internet, etc. it has a huge impact that people dont really understand.

its the girls choice and the parents approval. it may look "bad" 2 u but the gurls like wearing it plus its the fashion

To get attention, typically because their parents (primarily their fathers) didn't give them enough when they were growing up.
